Planting Instructions:  Ruby Red Swiss Chard seeds can be planted indoors or directly sown into the garden. If planting indoor make sure you start them 4 to 6 weeks before the last expected frost. For direct sowing, plant seeds about 1/2 inch deep, 8-10 inches apart in rows 18-24 inches apart. Plant in full sun, and well-drained soil. When seedlings are approximately 1-1/2 to 3 inches tall, make sure to thin them to 8-10 inches apart. Consistent watering and mulching help with weed control and moisture retention.
