German Chamomile – The "Liquid Sunshine" for Restful Sleep and Natural Anti-Inflammatory Healing

The highest quality German Chamomile seeds allow you to grow a backyard pharmacy dedicated to peace and relaxation. When it comes to herbal staples, Chamomile is the "Gentle Giant." This heirloom is famous for its daisy-like white flowers and an apple-scented aroma that has been used since ancient times to soothe the nervous system. At The Seed Guy, we believe we aren't just selling seeds; we are planting a calm evening after a long day, a natural remedy for a fussy stomach, and a beautiful, flowering groundcover that invites "Happy Vibe" pollinators to your garden.

In the garden, German Chamomile is a "Floral Healer." This variety is the premier choice for anyone who wants to "get your zen on"—providing blossoms that are world-class for their ability to reduce stress and promote deep sleep. Just visualize the steam rising from a porcelain cup filled with golden tea made from your own dried chamomile flowers; that is the reward of a medicinal harvest. It is a fantastic medicinal herb known for its high concentration of chamazulene, which acts as a powerful anti-inflammatory. At The Seed Guy, our seeds are tested for elite germination, ensuring you get prolific, feathery mounds that deliver "Prize-Winning" serenity to your tea collection.

Planting Depth: Surface Sow (Requires light to germinate)
Plant Spacing: 8-10" Apart

Chamomile Planting Instructions:

1. When to Plant: Sow outdoors in early spring as soon as the soil can be worked. Chamomile loves the cool start of the season.

2. Preparation: Prefers full sun and well-drained soil. It’s a hardy plant that can tolerate poor soil, but it doesn't like to stay "soggy."

3. Sowing: These seeds are tiny! Do not cover them. Surface sow and press lightly into the soil, as they need light to germinate.

4. Care: Keep the soil moist but not wet. Once the plant is established, it is very drought-tolerant and requires very little maintenance.

5. Pests and Diseases: Generally very resilient. Harvest the flowers when they are fully open for the strongest medicinal "Zing!"
